LSHA Membership
LSHA members are eligible for discounted class fees through the member blanket fees.  
An $85.00 blanket fee covers all your classes in your age division, one halter class for
each day and your stall.   If you can only make one day for the show, members are
entitled to a $30.00 “Ride-all-Day” blanket fee.  This fee covers all your age division
classes for one day and one halter class.  Stalls are not included.  As a member, you will
also be eligible for the Week-end High Point and Reserve High Point.

Year End Awards
*Saddles
are awarded in the following six (5) divisions: 12 and under, 13 – 15, 16 – 18,
19 –34 and 35 & Over.  Point are counted only for classes in your age group + one
halter class. Points accumulate on the date LSHA membership is received.

*Champion & Reserve Champion Awards are offered to most class categories.  
There will be
Champion & Reserve Champion Awarded to the top two people (all ages) in:

  • Halter
  • Showmanship
  • English Equitation
  • English Pleasure
  • Western Horsemanship
  • Western Pleasure
  • Trail

(Lead line, walk only and walk trot are not included in these awards)

(Immediate family member includes spouse and dependent children 17 & under)

Rider's age is determined as of January 1, 2010
Counter
Member involvement is necessary for the success of any organization.
LSHA welcomes members to serve on committees and volunteer during shows.
There is a great deal of satisfaction in working together to make something good even better.
If you are interested in volunteering, please contact one of our board members.  

Some of the ideas have been embroidered blankets, coolers, jackets, belt buckles.
